Returns and Refunds Policy

1. Introduction

At G&G Marts Ghana, we want you to enjoy every shopping experience with us. However, we understand that sometimes you may need to return an item. This Returns and Refunds Policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds can be made for items purchased on G&G Marts, as well as the cases where returns may not be accepted.

2. Return Period and Conditions for Acceptance

You may return most items purchased on G&G Marts within 7 days after delivery, provided they meet our return conditions. Returns are not accepted after this period has expired.

You may return items for the following reasons:

3. Items That Cannot Be Returned

For health, hygiene, or safety reasons, we do not accept returns of certain products, including but not limited to:

  • Underwear, swimwear, cosmetics, fragrances, personal care, and hygiene items
  • Groceries, beverages, food supplements, and other perishable goods
  • Software, tickets, or customized items
  • Gift cards.

You may only return such items if they are damaged, defective, or incorrect upon delivery.

4.Damaged or Defective Items (Our Guarantee)

If your item arrives damaged or is defective, we will make it right!

  • Step 1: Email us at (support@gngmarts.com) or WhatsApp us at (+233548124350) within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Step 2: Provide clear photos or a short video of the defect.

  • Step 3: We will either send you a replacement at no extra cost or issue a full refund. You do NOT need to ship the defective item back to us.

5.Change of Mind / “I Don’t Like It”

If the product is working perfectly but you simply changed your mind:

  • You will be responsible for the return shipping costs to our local office in Ghana (or our international warehouse, depending on the item).

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of original shipping will be deducted from your total.

  • Smart Alternative: We often offer a 30%–50% partial refund if you choose to keep the item instead of shipping it back. This saves you the stress of courier fees!

6. Packaging and Condition of Returns

Returned items must be in the same condition as received — unused, with original packaging, tags, and labels intact. Please ensure the product is securely packaged to prevent damage during return transit. Returned items remain your responsibility until received by G&G Marts.

7. Refunds Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved Refunds: Will be processed via your original payment method (Mobile Money or Bank Card) within 5–7 business days.

  • G&G Credit Wallet: You may also choose store credit, which is processed instantly and can be used for your next purchase.


How to process a return:

Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer in China. Please contact G&G Marts Support first at (support@gngmarts.com) for the correct return address in Ghana.

8. Rejected Returns

NB, All returned items are carefully inspected. If your return does not meet our policy requirements, it will be rejected and sent back to you. Two delivery attempts will be made; after which, you must collect the item within 60 days, or it will be forfeited.

9. No Exchanges

G&G Marts does not currently offer direct exchanges. To receive a different size or color, please return your item and place a new order.
